Medical Education (CME) Medicine is a universal science and the rate at wich knew findings accumulates is in constant growth. Simultaneously and for economical purposes, governments are concerned about the cost-effectiveness of medical practice even in rich countries. It is definitely no more possible to compare todays clinical practice to what existed just a few decades ago. At the turn of the XXIst century, Internet appears as another tool to communicate, exchange ideas and share scientific knowledge hence contributing to the necessary continuing medical education (CME) of the medical profession. Websites created for such purposes are proliferating. Asmanet created less than 2 years ago has been visited more than 16000 times, CME activities will be implemented soon. A pedagogic advertising committee will be nominated in September. Asthmology has been clearly identified as an important topic for CME by the GINA recommendations. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. Ph. Godard, B. Housset, M. Godard, M. Julien à voir : ... |
